Virtual Learning Environments
Technology
In today's modern climate, more organisations have to deal with the challenges of a geographically dispersed workforce. Delivering a supported learning and development programme using fixed venues can be expensive, both in the direct training costs but also in travel costs of the delegates.
V-ILT
The Aikona Virtual Learning Environment uses the latest technology to provide a classroom based experience. We call it Virtual Instructor Led Training (V-ILT).
Simple Access
Accessing a V-ILT session is simple: Delegates are invited to log onto the Aikona Academy and the Virtual Training Centre. Once they have joined their session they will be able to see who else is on the session and are able to follow the tutor through a dynamic web interface and telephone conference line.Delegates are able to interact with the tutor and other delegates and fully participate in the session as if they were in a classroom.
One-hour sessions
Typically a V-ILT programme will be delivered over a number of weeks in one hour sessions, making them easy to add to busy diaries. They can be used to provide specific topic based learning or as a cost effective solution to preparing delegates for certification exams.
